Default there is a light layer of oil over that general area - no idea where it is comming from

the only part that seems to drip oil is that area - and that is where the clutch is at - and there is no fluids in there - where the hell is the oil coming from

Default a comment....

You might figure out where its coming from first. That looks like a reasonable size leak if your getting drips like that. At first glance, it does not look like its coming within the bell housing(ie trans imput shaft seal or eng RMS). My guess is that its coming from the motor(oil pan seal, tensioner gasket,etc.).

Default Follow it forward and up since the oil is going to move down and back

as you are driving. I get oil in that same area and it seems to be coming from the oil pan gasket on the driverside.

Default Check passenger side behind trans mount directly below your cat...

there is a plug behind the mount for the shift gate, mine backed out to the point I was getting a small leak. Major PITA to tighten, requires a T60 Torx and the trans mount has to be removed to tighten it. Another clue that the leak is from there, the more it backs out, the harder 4 3 downshifts become.
