SUPER DAN A4

Out of curiosity, I open my engine oil cap and peeked inside with a flashlight,,,,oh my gosh,,,i saw rough metal edges where the metal met,,,i then rubbed my finger on it and it was sharp and when i pulled my finger out, it was covered in metal filings (burrs). That's the last place I thought i would find bits and pieces of metal,,,,right where the engine oil goes in!!!!!!!! Can someone confirm this? Does Audi engine have a fine particulate filter to remove debris before the oil enters the engine compartment???? I certainly hope so.....
