Default Found out the hard way... SP8000's officially BLOW in the snow...

Maybe an inch of wet snow at most on the roads here in central Jersey. Took the car around the neighborhood to test out the tires - took a left turn at no more than 5 mph and WHAM, drifted into the curb. Goddamit - got curb rash on left side wheels and alignment hopefully isn't too out of wack. What kind of impact does it usually take to cause damage to suspension components?

Glad I put on the snow tires, then. Thanks for being the research department.

Seriously...sorry to hear about the rims. Road rash sucks.

Default Yet another reason to run steelies in the winter..

They take that kind of thing much better than alloys.. I would have the car looked at, you never know what may be bent after a hit like that

Sorry about your mishap though..
