Found out why car won't start.....chip/ecu.....
Finally rolled it into the dealer and even though I had the stock chip solder back onto the ecu (I had giac before), the dealer denied my warranty. They are only covering the fuel pump that is bad. So its goin to cost me $1000 bucks to get a new ecu including all the labor to check out the car. Damn..i guess i am sticking to stock boost from now on. Now i gotta take my ecu back to the chip place, hope they will give me some kind of refund.

And another modman bites the dust.....
A car is a system...a whole made of many parts that a designed to work together with very clear performance peramiters. Just because it is easy to drop a chip into an iMac, doesn't mean the same easy solution will work on a car. Horsepower creates heat, it demands more fuel and air, it requires more brakes, it puts greater stress on the drive system...which all add up to shorter life of the components. A race car spends hours in the shop for every lap it spends on the track. Every step you take in moving a car from street stock to race car...and in between...means more shop time (and less seat time) and more money out of your pocket. If you are willing to pay the price of the ticket, that's fine...but don't kid yourself that chipping your ecu...or slamming your suspension...or increasing wheel size and lowering the tire profile does not cause wear and tear on the system. If you have gone to extreme low profile tires and wheels, give extra attention to your drive line and you wheel bearings and your steering box...all of these will be taking a larger dose of abuse and wear.
If you really want to go racing, pick up an old MR2 or Miata or Honda CRX, strip it down, pump it up, put in a full cage and harness system, and starting going to the track. All of those are light enough to flat tow behind your A4...and your A4 will ride like the sport sedan it was designed to be, not like the truck many of you have turned yours into. Of course this is for those of you who walk the walk, not just talk the talk. Most street racers can't really cut it at the track.
