Default Found rear deck speaker problem. Need some opinion.

I had a rear deck speaker rattling problem for a while. I finally took the rear deck apart today and found what was wrong with it. I have bose system btw.

This is the passenger side speaker which was rattling. When I took it apart, I couldn't find what was wrong with it. But upon close inspection, I realized half of cone has been fell apart.

This is the driver side speaker. It's been ripped and cracked but it works fine! I just notice that adhesive on con is different than the passenger side speaker.(It's more gel type)

I bought used car, but It seems to be the passenger side speaker has been replaced. You can clearly see the color of speaker.

I hooked up the driver side speaker to passenger side speaker and it worked fine. So I don't think bose amp isn't blown. I'm going to buy some adhesive to reattach con tonight.
Meantime, I have a question. Whether these speaker works or not, I'm planning to buy powered subwoofer. I'm thinkin about Infinity Basslink which seems to be some owners already added. I don't plan to spend too much money on sound system but just want to add some bass.
Here is my questions;
1)How will it sound if I add subwoofer and disconnect rear deck speakers? Even I fix these speakers, they will break later. I think rear deck speaker's function is for bass. So I thought about just adding a subwoofer and disconnect them....I don't know if anyone in this forum done this way.
2)I couldn't find an amp for rear speakers. I thought they were inside of rear deck?
3)Anyone tried "Fixing Bass Boominess in the Bose Stereo II"? I don't know how it will work with 8ohm speakers.
Thank you in advance and I'll update how speaker is fixed!

Default In my bose system I have the rear deck lid speakers removed -

which ports my rear deck lid for the sub I have. They are useless once you have a sub anyway. The rest the bose speakers are still running off the bose amp and I think it sounds quite good.
