Hmmm. It was 4th gear, and the green curve is the loss. Btw i never missed the power on the road.

Default What they are saying is

The only way to get engine numbers is to hook the engine up directly.

The other thing is driveline loss is relative not a simple percentage.

Default iirc the MAHA dyno measures the loss during the decelerative period of the pull

once you let off of the gas it is measuring how much resistance there is and it calculates the CHP (crank) from the WHP and decerlative losses.

Default You should see some Vette owners I know - they were even more disappointed than you.

and the local dyno shop told of a guy who put all this aftermarket stuff on his ricer - and the after hp was less than before

Default I think you are right, that's how it's being done. Here is loss/rpm chart:

2000rpm 30%
3000rpm 23%
4000rpm 26%
5000rpm 31%
6000rpm 42%(!)

Anything you can read out of it Qfrog?
I think the soft tires also add to it: F1-GSD3s.

Default yeah your average is like 27.5% and I dont know about that last figure

not sure if that is accurate or error. if you drop that last number you have a normal DT loss figure.
