I took a road trip to PA and when I got back to VA I noticed a small white (2mm in diameter) chip in the front hood of my Ebony Pearl Paint (what da !?!?). How should I go about repairing this chip mark? What products should I use and where can I get them? I live in the Fairfax, VA area so if anyone knows a good auto products shop in the area that would be great. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in the advance!

...if the chip is "new", you can probably touch it up without soing anything to the surface first, but you might want to use some dish soap to take the wax off around it first.
carcareonline.com has an article on fixing stone chips too I think.
...get used to it...my ebony pearl is just over 2 months old and I have 3 or 4 chips (smaller than oyurs though) on the hood just from the f)(*&)^%g trucks on the highways. Soft german paint? My problem is the chips are too small for a brush so I'm gonna try a toothpick or something...<p>'00 1.8TQS Tip
