front seat guide replacement on a manual leatherette 1.8tq
What's involved in this job? I know the car has side airbags. Do I need a VAG-COM for this job? Does the seat have to come out completely & be disassembled?

Re: What are you replacing? Just the plastic bits? I don't think you need to take it all the way out
front seat 'rocks' during turns so i'm only going to change out the plastic bushing parts. ordered a bushing kit from ecs.

the seat can stay in the car when you do it. you way or may not have enough length to allow the air
bag connection to stay. As long as you dont turn the car on with the airbag disconnected you will not get a cel.
