Paul machan

Hi, just curious if anyone has had any sqeaking in their front control arms. I have a 96 A4 2.8.
The dealer said its common, I say its bushings, they want to replace the control arms, I think they are nuts. Anyone had this problem?

The problem is with the lower control arm bushing. But the bushing is not a servicable part, therefore the entire lower control arm is replaced.

squeaked before lowering, squeaks now....

yes, squeaking over sharp bumps...they said they lubed the bushing but I think they lied....nt

Dave's right, its the control arms, had 2 replaced already at under 20k
