Frozen Parking Brake
I think that my parking brake is frozen. When I released the parking brake, it felt fine, but I couldn't move. When I tried to put it back on it sort of felt loose, like the cable was stuck somewhere. Is it possible for the brake line to freeze? What do I need to do to fix it? I can't have an immobile car all winter!

it's possible the arm on the caliper for the cable is sticking. If that's the case...
spray some WD-40 or PB Blaster where the arm is mounted to the caliper and smack it back and forth with the hammer. When mine was sticking, the brake handle was loose about 1/2 way down like yours.

I didn't fully fix it until I went apesh!t on it one day. I must have hit it back and forth 20 times
I was pissed that it was being such a pain in the ***. Hasn't happened again in over 2 years now.
