Default Fuel filter getting changed tomorrow

I am going to do before an after VAG runs of 02V to see if there is any change in air/fuel mixture. Filter has 80K on it.

Default Just did mine at 110K, and the bolt that holds the filter clamp was frozen....

I got frustrated and had Shine try it. Ended up getting out the sawzall!

Good luck!

sounds like you guys need to learn how to relieve the fuel pressure before you remove the filter....

Default You don't even touch the pump. The issue is access to the bolt on the clamp.

If it was rusted like mine, well, good luck.

Default you're daft..... we just did one of those here at my place last week

use a T40 or T45 to unscrew the triple square screw that holds the clamp shut. Wedge a hammer up in there between the tank and the chassis. 4 bolts are all that is required to get the tank loose enough to make it work..

YES YOU CAN DO THIS ON JACK STANDS, and you dont have to get gas on ya.... use an oil pan and open the ends of the filter slowly so the banjo bolts give the filter time to drain out slowly.

Wear rubber gloves and you might get 3ounces of fuel on you at MOST.

You people are so lazy.
