Fuel Pump Relay 372 vs 208 in 97 AEB: Differences?

Anyone know what the difference is? My 97 aeb motor was having some intermittent starting problems when it's cold. I purchased the check valve (have to figure out how to cut off those single use clamps that is currently secured the original one) and new fuel pump relay 372.
When I finally figure out how to get access to the relays (3 screws need to be removed off 97 driverside knee bolster: 1 in the fuse box, 2 behind the plastic shields that need to be removed w/ small flat screw driver and then 8mm head), I saw that there was no 372 relay. The only one that looked similar was 208 in the very most right side.
Not sure, I came back to look it up on the AW forums and sure enough that was the spot. I swapped out the 208 for 372 and the car starts fine.
Both are 12V, but different amps (208: 30/20A vs 372: 40/?). Any issues I should be concerned about?

Pulled codes and misfires on all 4 cylinders. ECT intermittent high.
Did a search for similar symptoms: replaced ECT (again!), replaced fuel pump relay with 372 (original was 208- hence the question), and attempting to replace check valve near ICM. [ICM replaced last year]

the power for the injectors runs through the fp relay so the injectors won't fire if the pump isn't running. mine when thermal. car wouldn't start if the interior was hot. put the car on a flat bed and it would start at the dealer
