Default fuel trim too lean / too rich codes; could it be the 02 sensor?

or might there be something more expensive gone wrong on my 3k mile old motor...

too lean at idle/too reach at part-throttle = vacuum leak

Default Have you looked at block 032?

You could have a leak somewhere between the turbo and throttle body. Also check the FPR vac line, if it has a leak you will get both of the rich and lean codes.
