Someone posted around a week or two ago that the neuspeed removed the speed limiter. After hearing this I was itching to test it out. I've been up to around 120 MPH, but not to the 130 limit. I finally had a chance to test it over x-mas when I found a rare piece of open freeway in SoCal. Tried it twice, you get up to 130 MPH then you feel the gas let up. Since I was going downhill I actually made it up to around 132mph. To give credit to the other poster maybe there is other versions of the Neuspeed chip with the speed limiter removed. But the one I got was through Anthony at Greedspeed at the Neuspeed factory and the speed limiter is still there.
Jeff R
a4 1.8T FWD Neuspeed springs,Bilstein shocks, 17" TSW Imolas, P7000SS 225 & NEUSPEED CHIP
P.S. My car was very smooth at 130, you can tell it was tested on the autobahn. The road even had a slight bend to it, no problem. My friend stated that my car felt at 130 felt better than his MR2 at 85mph. Sorry neither of us checked the tac to see what the rpm's were at while I was doing 132!
