Default FYI - Stage 2 Porsche Caliper Clearance w. Mercedes CLK320 wheels

16x7, ET37, 13lb forged aluminum. Clears using 5mm spacer (see photos below). Thank you to Jeffrey Goggin for his guidance. I chose to machine the mounting holes for S4 lug bolts.

My next decision is 2-piece rotor, ECS, DBA, or Racing Brake. DBA appears very robust but heavy (thick). ECS is light, but has had some complaints on warping (it looks like they use the Coleman light duty rotor). Racing Brake appear to be light also, but A8 application not listed. They list TT rotor at same size (312x25). Anyone know if this would work?

My lowly Passat:

Default 13lbs... damn, make the 17" Kosei's at 15 lbs seem heavy... too bad they look like silver steelies.

But still a good wheel I guess as long as you don't want to run big brakes.
