I had my front speakers looke dat today by the people who installed my aftermarket system. Turned out the right front speaker was blown. Anyway, when I got home I was looking over the door panel, kinda dusty, he must have layed it face doen on the ground, and right underneath the plastic of the cutout to close the soor, there's a gash. About 1/4" square. I immediatley called, and he told me there's not much he can do, he didn;t notice it, so there's no way to prove it wasnt already there. BELEIVE me it wasn't!! What to do???

Raise hell!--You have a new car (being a 99.5 it can't be over 4-5 months old right?), if the rest of the car is immaculate, a reasonalbe small claims judge would find in your favor. Facts being new car, door panel R&R'd by a stereo shop, now right after their work gash appears, hmmmmm easy judgement. Now get a couple of estimates from interior & trim shops for the repair, and present it to the steroe shop-the kid with the lowered import truck, baggy pants, hat on backwards, c+ student at best should eat it, (I know this is a little bit of a stereotype but I have found few exceptions by me to installers).
