Default gear ratios..
what exactly do they mean, I know how to read them,just not what they mean ha, lower the better? my assumption is that its how quickly the transition from gear to gear is?

Default Let's say if you have 1.8T, 2.8 tranny is better (for a DD), but...
...then you'd think: I wish I had 6 gears .
Shorter gears for moar sport for sure
