Default I don't have any suggestions for extracting a stripped hex head cap screw .. but I have advice that

is late in coming. I have posted this a bazillion times but it seems to go un-noted ... buy a set of ball end metric allen wrenches to do this job. The angle of the cap screw is such that a straight wrench doesn't fit properly and you risk stripping the head. With the ball end in the cap screw you can get the wrench vertical and use a small box end slipped over the short end of the allen wrench to turn the wrench and screw. You *might* be able to get enough purchase using this method if you haven't buggered the cap screw to the point there is no hex remaining.

Go to Home Depot and get some of the Alumaweld or Strong as Steel Epoxy stuff (there are tons of different types) and epoxy another bolt (very short one) to it...use the new bolt's head to remove the old bolt

Default When you do finally get it out...

... just replace it with a regular hex head bolt, instead of the allen head.

Neuspeed had told me the exact size to get, but I have since forgotten it. But if you email Neuspeed's or UUC's customer service, they should be able to tell you the exact size of the bolt.
I bought a couple of them at PepBoys.

I don't know if you got the UUC or the Neuspeed shifter, so I don't know how much of the shifter you are removing. But if you take out the whole thing, as per Neuspeed's instructions, then you might also be able to fit a pair of pliers (locking pliers would work best) into the shifter box to remove that stripped bolt.

Good luck,
Peter
