to get tip chip do u have to send out tranny computer or can u plug chip right in??

The day I got a chip, a guy with a Passat got one, too... & discovered his tip-trans slipped after.
Wow... I got it all in the "Subject" line.
Yeah... he got the chip put in, took it for a spin, and sure enough... his transmission started slipping.
Actually, I think he already had the tip chip. He was just adding the engine chip that day.
