Default gettin my A4 soon...maybe...?!?

Im pretty happy, this Saturday my parents are going to look at the A4 I want. They said they'll get it if everything looks good. It's a black '01 1.8t, 38k miles, quattro, sports/winter pkg, 5spd, tinted windows, APR chip, Eibach springs, Tokico shocks, sway bars, intake, 17" BBS rims, Clarion dvd deck, 10" JL Audio W6v2 sub w/ JL 500/1 amp, pedals, shiftknob, boost controller, and boost gauge. All that for $16,000. I thinks that's pretty good considering I get all that and all stock parts included. It's my brothers friends car so maybe a little less. I've been saving up for about 1 1/2 years and have just under $2600. I was thinking about a Rieger kit and front mount I/C as mods assuming I get it.Im really hoping I get it, because last time they let me down. So let me know what you guys think about everything.

Default I think you should respect your parents a little more than to come on here and

dictate that they "let you down" because they didn't buy you a $16,000 car.

Default why not be thankful for whatever car your parents end up getting you?

cause w/o them you'll be driving a $2600 ****box w/ no insurance.

Actually, the other car was $21,000. A BMW 323Ci, and that car they told me they were gonna buy it, they actually said they would get it. But when we were supposed to go see it they said it costs too much. After that they kept bouncin around on what the price limit was.

Yea, $21,000 is too expensive for your first car, especially if you're not kicking anything in for it.

NO! I must get a good car. My older brother drives an '01 Acura TL and the other a '96 BMW M3. And my parents pay both their insurance. My parents ain't gonna stick me with no cheap bucket.

Default My first car cost $600.

But that was 15 years ago.

Be very thankful your parents are willing to buy a car like that for you.

With my kids, they are going to have to pay for most if not all of their first car.

Default You need a reality check

Be content with sustenance and covering. Anything else is just icing on the cake. Do you even have a job?
