I accelerate after shifting from reverse into drive (when backing out of the driveway). I just had a CV joint replaced and thought that would make the sound go away.
Also get the (grinding?)sound when taking a hard turn on a bumpy surface (when going slow...)
Any ideas??
Thanks-

does it sound like you car is momentarily vibrating? It is almost like an electric motor or something that comes on and causes the noise/feeling in my car. I don't know how else to describe it. It also happens when I go over speed bumps really slow.

Dealer replaced CV boots and it took car of it for a couple of weeks. And the damn sound came back.
I've seen in the archives about a solution to this problem, but didn't record the info. Gotta search again![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)

They say it's because of the large speed difference in the rear diff. It sounds logical to me. BTW, I went to buy a RF door trim piece, and the price was $8 less than quoted...I told you I have an excellent dealer :}
