Getting power past the firewall

Are there any 12v sources inside the car that I can tap into for a subwoofer amplifier? If there aren't any already inside, is there a way to route a cable through the firewall from the battery?
Thanks

The power for my amp runs from the battery thru the electrical box that houses the ECU and off down the car, Theres a nipple bit on the grommet that you can snip off and feed the cable thru, or you can cut your own hole in the rubber.

I tied my amp to one of the 30A circuits on the left side under the dash and it's worked flawless for the past few months. Drop the panel and you'll see the power distribution block in the upper left area, there are a few 10mm bolts and ampreage stickers right over them. I loosened the nut and tied my FUSED amp circuit to that stud. It's been running a fosgate 300x and then I switched to a Planet audio BB175.4 and a cap with no issues

you can run a power cable through the firewall on the right side of the battery and left of the ECU. There is a rubber grommet you can remove to feed the wire through which comes down the driver side. You can run it along the driver side door to the back seat and out the trunk. I was able to fit 4 gauge no problem.
