getting a pretty bad Squeek/Groan from the Rack...Anyone encounter this before?

getting a pretty bad Squeek/Groan from the Rack...Anyone encounter this before?

When i had my '91 V8q and the rack went bad, the seals just leaked. No Moaning or Squealing like this.

It only occurs while turning, and most noticibly during parking situations. Fluids are topped off.

could be the Vane pump

aka the power steering pump.

It is definately comming from the rack. It really sounds like a metal on metal squeel....
