getting pulled over strategy
Do you pull over immediately, even if it means stopping in the middle of the road and possibly endangering the cop or do you continue on with the lights behind you flashing until you have a nice safe place to pull over? What do the police prefer?

ive never gotten pulled over *knocks on wood*, but id assume
that it would be safer for you and the cop if you pulled over somehwere safe or like silverbullet said, in a parking lot.

I was in a car that got pulled over one time...
... where we continued past an entrance ramp until we could get over to the right side of the road and the first thing out of the trooper's mouth was 'why didn't you stop back on the entrance ramp median?'

safe spot but put blinker on so he knows and doesnt get angry.
i always turn off the car. roll windows down and keep my hands on the wheel too. i have talked to cops and they say that makes them feel comfortable.
