Default Getting that stretched look with a stock rim?

I did the searches and read all the + and - behind changing the tire sizes... but, is it possible/feasible to get a tire that will have the stretched look on a stock 16" rim without drastically effecting the speed-o??? maybe just a size that would give that look a little bit??

I was thinking maybe just a 195/55 instead of 205/55... thoughts?

Default To each their own...

but to me, decreasing the performance of your car is never a good idea. Please be careful if you decide to do so as it would be terrible if you hurt yourself or someone else.

Default If you want a more aggressive look, get 225/50 16s.

Don't reduce the sidewall while maintaining the same size rim. It will look odd and will throw off your speedo.

Default You would need something like a 185/65 tire, but the problem is, you won't have enough load carrying

capacity. So, bad idea. Very bad idea.

Default Re: wow.

every single one of those replies was seriously cocky as ****... but nonetheless, thanks for the input. i had assumed it would be a bad idea aswell, just never knew for sure.

i will probably just replace them with the current size... 225/50/16... thanks again, i think.
