did you really expect supportive go for it killer type replies?
Back in the day I wold have been a lot nastier about it too. If you think that was some cocky ****, then you've not seen much of this forum. Would you have felt more loved if I had told you to go for it and please make sure that when you wreck you try to do so when nobody else is on the road.... ??
Get bent with the eurotrash look... its stupid and dangerous to use a wheel width that is not compliant with the specs provided by the tire mfg for the tires you are using. Dont be a fvckhead pal... your life depends on your tires on a regular basis... lets not dick about with them ey?

The *only* way that look is cool (and I say that with a bit of a smirk on my face as I don't really think it's that cool... but glad you do) is with very wide wheels that stick out of the fender so the tire is exposed and can really be seen.
In fact that's why the look became popular if you didn't know. In Europe (and other places) you can have wide wheels, but the tire tread can not extend past the fender... hence the stretched look.
With stock rims it would just look like you stuck tiny cheap Walmart tires on you car and are too lame to know the difference.
No offense intended to you... but it's an all-round really bad idea.

..ricers would think you're cool for doing it (but they'd be wrong)
Well, and that's not really a plus now, is it?
