GIAC x-chip question
How do I know what my chip is? The paper I got with my chip says +40hp/80ft-lbs, 1.05 bar. I thought the x-chip was more than that. They have info aobut the x-chip for VW 1.8t on the AWE site, but not about the Audi 1.8t x-chip. Now I love the chip, but I am hungering for a bigger turbo and exhaust now! The bug has me.

what is the file number on the paper they gave you--they don't have a sheet like that for the X
so they use the generic one for the base chip.
file number should be: 018CH01D.08A if you have a CH ecu.

Chip should be the same for the M ecu also.
To find out he will need to pull the ecu out and open it up and look at the sticker on the chip.
Most of the time the only paper in the box is the one that has the GIAC logo and all the info about returns, upgrades and guarantee.
