Is GIAC's Tip chip worth it? Anyone here have t care to comment? Thanks.

i have standard, but a lot of people swear by the tip chip....
everyone i know that has it loves it.... if i had tip, i'd definately get it, but then again, if i had tip, i'd probably sell it for a manual

No, it has nothing to do with the chip.
You unplug the harness next to the throttle cable.
See the three cables passing through the sheet metal? Unplug the middle one (the one with the metal retaining clip) and it will take away the WOT downshift and let you upshift before redline if you're at WOT.
