Default Glasspack to quiet the exhaust?

So after having my Custom exhaust setup on I think it's just too damn loud.

My system:
2 Magnaflow Cats
single 2.25" straight back
Vibrant axle back

I just bought a Flowtech Purple Hornie glasspack to put in line with the Vibrant axle back. If i want the glasspack to eliminate the most sound where would I put it? Farther towards the front or rear?

I figure for $35 + install it's worth a shot...

Default Unfortunately, with the 2.8 engine, you really need more than one muffler.

hell, even with a full S4 exhaust, I felt my 2.8 was way too loud.

Default I agree... however

That would be rather expensive. If I got another muffler I would put it where the stock resaonator used to be, and that would basically require a redesign in the exhaust.

Default Can't help you, just speaking from experience. A purple horney is not going to quiet it ....

all that much. Worth a shot though. =)

Default it'll work, but glasspacks tend to produce a lot of backpressure

If you want good torque that might be a good thing, but if you want max top hp I'd go with a small standard muffler.

Default I had to send one of my pistons to the flatlander racing

they are making custom 8.5:1 pistons for me and they didn't have exact specs for the AHA engine, so they needed a sample to build off.
So now it's a 4-5 week wait until the new pistons are done. In the meantime I'm making new mounting hardware for the whipple supercharger and trying to make it fit under the hood. Not an easy task consider how little space there is and how much bigger it is from the G1 unit.
