Going under the knife in about 2 hours....you know what that means...
...2 extra days staying home from work with nothing to do but surf AW, play Tribes and perhaps detail my Audi (<----- audi content).
Having a Larangoscopy (sp?) to get rid of some growth on my vocal cords. It'll be my first time under general anestesia. No talking for at least 2-3 days - but hopefully this will fix my raspy voice.
The real bummer is that I'm soooo hungry and thirsty right now but can't eat or drink anything.
"Talk" to you guys when I'm back.

Been under general anasthesia twice already. Don't worry, no biggie.
After the initial anasthesia shot you'll be asleep in 10 seconds (I'm 5'8" 165 lbs BTW) and wake up 6 hours later in the recovery room as if you just blinked for a split second. No memory of the procedure whatsoever.
Good luck!

Drugs... good Side-affects... bad
I got so ill when I had my wisdom teeth removed... I felt great walking in there b/c I was totally out of it on the pill they gave me. The GA and the blood that I somehow swallowed didn't do nice things to my stomach.

I had the best wisdom tooth extraction ever...
I had my teeth out at 11am... by 6pm I was eating cold macaronii shells and cheese, only took three pain pills and didn't really bruise at all. I am very lucky... I was terrified going in because of all the horror stories my friends had told me.
