cheap Chinese rotors. I just don't think $100 for front pads and $50 for rears makes sense. I admit, some pads are total crap, but those are the same brands that are oem (ATE) and aftermarket (Mintex). Honsetly, Duralast work great and are dirt cheap. See, I service several car, and pay myself for famly car, I don't waste money on fancy-boy junk.

not only is the price great the finish is perfect and they wear nicely too. most cars get 2 sets of brakes (with machining the rotors) out of them. and rarely any comebacks for vibration or noise.
the pads we use are usually wagner thermo quiet as the garbage pad, but they still work great and its not uncommon to see 40-50k life out of them depending on the driver.
higher end models like audi jaguar bmw volvo mercedees and better get a selection of pagid ferrodo(my choice) or akebono
we strictly use oem pads in hondas and toyotas due to the outstanding quality of the pads and hardware that come with them even though they blow our profit margin to ****. other pads will cause complaints and comebacks more frequently than other makes
