Okay, first--have had my first Audi (2001 A4/1.8QTip) for a few weeks and I completely hooked on this car...am always making excuses to go to the store or whatever just so i can drive it...crazy...
Second...just went to GreedSpeed today and had the new Neuspeed program installed in my ECU. What a difference! Now I'm riding at about 205hp/240-245tq and the car runs much smoother overall. The great thing about this one is that they don't add any hardware to your ECU (there's no actual chip to install), they flash the software in your existing board and reprogram it with their tuned software. So--no chance of a dealer seeing a chip soldered to your board! They'll also restore the software back to the original factory program if needed and restire it back again once you get your car back from the dealership--but probably not necessary unless you have a major problem that might involve the ECU.
Anyway...I know there are a lot of good chips out there (almost bought an APR o Garret myself)...but so far this one's a good recommend.

Where did I get the car? Advantage Audi/Jag in Redlands.
The chip? GreedSpeed in Thousand Oaks (CA).
I think they have a listing in the links section of this site...

usually the chip vendor will reprogram for free, thats why its kinda nice to have a local chip tuner as opposed to mailing ECU's around the world
