I put a Stebro stainless on the back half of my 99.5 2.8. It was about $325 USD. They gave me 10% off for being a Quattroclub member.
It needed a 'colar' to fit the OEM but no rattles so far and it has a nice tone...pretty loud though. I going to put in a cone cold air intake filter next which should compliment the exhaust's performance.

It's smoother in the 3-4K band and really kicks in at 5K. It sounds more powerful :-) but I don't know how much gain...I think it's only like 5hp or so. Did you notice a hp gain with your cold air addition?
