Default Good gravy! 058-133-753-B, now 058-133-753-D, went from $18 to $40 in two years!

That's a 250% price increase on this otherwise nothing special part.

Though, based on that patent app I read on it, it is in fact quite special.

Default Yeah? A rebuilt MAF sensor went from $100 to $140 in a week!

My guess is, they(Audi AG) having been taking a beating in the currency markets(hedging and the like) as well as the lower US$ is probably not helping things. There is probably some onus to keep repair costs high so you'll want to trade in for a new A4. Again, I believe it would behove Audi to take a different direction towards its customers and consumers.
Has winter hit out there yet? Temps are dropping here on the coast.
