Good mechanic recommendation wanted in Northern or Central NJ.....
It's about that time, I need to have the timing belt replaced, and I think the dreaded control arms need help too. Looking for recommendations for a good mechanic, someone you've had good dealings with.
Thanks in advance.

George & Jacks Clifton, NJ...
They are Audi, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, & VW specialists and would not take anything else. Very knowledgeable in what they do. Honest and good prices. BTW, the A4 is one of his specialties. I see many go in and out when I'm there.

Do not take it to Jack Daniels (kinda long)...
Once I had a problem with the locking system on my previous Audi (1993 90s). When I asked the service tech how much it was going to be this is what they had to say. "Many factors can contribute the locking system to malfunction. It may take a few hours just to locate the problem (@ $93 an hour) + parts and additional labor (to actually replace the part)". I took it to George & Jacks and they knew exactly what the problem was before even before touching the car. They removed the door panel for me just to make sure it was what they mentioned and made an appointment with me. Took the car to them for the appointment & $125 later (parts & labor) problem solved.

UPDATE: Just found this out about Jack Daniels.
Review wise, they are only 316 out of 317. Just read some reviews and you will be convinced.

Jack Daniel Reviews
