Please help!!! Our 99.5 A4 is acting up, the car is off warranty and our local service shop in Yonkers NY claims Audi's can only be fixed by the dealer? I would hate to have to go back to our local dealer. Anybody know of a good shop close to Yonkers NY? Thanks

Check Engine light is on, car has a very rough idle and stay's i first gear under light driving till about 5,000 rpm's. Engine compatment also smell's like something might be burning but not like oil. The car just hit 50,000 miles and our service contract is over.

Thats BS. Can't help you find a shop in that area, but, the statement that Audis can only be fixed by the dealers is total crap!

I figured as much LOL!!! Pretty weird that in the year 2003 a shop can stay open only fixing Ford's and Chevy's...But the way I look at it probably better he was a jerk than if he actually tried to fix it...

Queens is a bit far right now. Thanks for the info, I will keep your guy in mind for the future. Right now the car is in Limp mode and I am afraid the cost of towing it out to Queens would add up in a hurry. Thanks again
