Default Good news and potentially really bad news...

So good news, yesterday i did find KMD Tuning about 2 miles away from where everyone told me. Cool people, met Danny and took a short 10 sec tour of the shop. It was pretty cool. I ended up buying a VDO boost gauge and N75J from them and went on my merry way.
Potentially bad news, I installed my boost gauge today and was excited to see it work (yeah i know i should have done this a while ago). I take out the car and its at 20 Hg which is fine cuz I'm idling. But I take it on Garden State Parkway and I'm seeing ZERO boost. No matter how hard I pushed the car. I never passed zero psi.
It cant be the gauge cuz its reading 20Hg like it shoudl at idle. Is my turbo blown or the wastegate actuator gone bad? Any advice on what to check, what are signs? I searched and those two are what I found to be the potential probs, just want to know how to check. TIA.

would overtightening a zip tie at the t-fitting pinch a line?

if you zipped the part of the line that is on the T, no. If that was the case, you'd get no reading

then its not pinched, all the lines are perfect. Could the car even run with 0 boost?

Sure, it's just NA right now. I'm surprised you don't get a CEL

Default well, you're still using the turbo plumbing, so it's less than NA right now

get hold of a VAG-COM. I have no experience with this kind of problem.

Default Had the same problem the first time I installed mine, recheck your lines.

For me, it ended up being that my T-tap was cracked.
