I'm driving home from work today, and some clown is in an SUV getting a little too punchy with the gas pedal in traffic. Low and behold, he finds himself next to me. He speeds up, but there isn't enough room between the car directly in front of him, and the nose of my car. He decides he WANTS to get in my lane (even though there is nowhere to go because of traffic)...and he DOES! WTF?!?? I didn't think a moron would attempt this...there just wasn't room. Anyway, I hit the brakes, and steer towards the concrete median to get enough clearance to avoid this a$$hole. I hit my horn to let him know I'm pissed...but I'm REALLY pissed, because he knew exactly what he was doing before he did it! So, rather than returning the favor, and cutting him off, I decide this little ***** needs a talking to. I follow him. He exits a mile down the highway, and proceeds to drive around on local level streets...through 25 mph neighborhoods and whatnot. I continue to follow him for 20 minutes as he makes a series of left and right turns, eventually getting back on the highway going back to the area where the incident initially occurred. Mind you...he apparently has figured out I'm following him, and doesn't want to bring me home to mommy and daddy. The entire time, we're both driving the speed limit, using our turn signals, etc. If I didn't have to be home at 7, I would have continued to follow him all night, until he stopped his car, and then I would have blown my stack!

See, this is how road rage should play out...no wreckless driving, no finger pointing, no high beams, no brake checks...just a little fear that will hopefully pursuade him to drive a little more carefully next time!

Here in CA they shoot you if you follow them. Well, they also shoot you just randomly. Oh well...
