Got 16502 couple weeks ago, replaced ECT sensor,
After I got my first CEL (check engine light)...
VAG-COM showed:
Control Module Part Number: 4B0 906 018 P
Component and/or Version: 1.8L R4/5VT G 0006
Software Coding: 07001
Work Shop Code: WSC 06335
1 Faults Found:
16502 - Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor (G62): Signal too High
P0118 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Replaced Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, green 4 contact sensor made in Luxembourg, in about 15min. Had a little trouble unplugging the connector.
Hopefully this will prevent CEL from coming on againg. BTW, CEL is off now.
