Got my baby back after the "not starting" problem
Again I was impressed with the service at Bramgate Audi in Brampton Ontario though they did not have a loaner for my they did apologise up and down for being able to give me one on such short notice. The fix took about 15 minutes (after 24 hours waiting for the part to come in. The changed a "relay switch" whatever that is, and when i asked if there was anything i could have done to contribute to the problem they said no and if anything I'm babying the car too much (how they knew that is beyond me but it is true) they told me it loves to be pushed hard and that I should open it up on the freeway as much as possible. Are they just setting me up for a big repair bill in a couple of years?

Probably not
The tech that told me about the carbonization problem said that it usually occured on cars that were driven short distances and babied (ie. little old lady drivers), and that it would probably be pretty rare for most of the folks who spend time on Audiworld. Don't know how they knew you weren't pushing it though.<p>Regards,

My friend (Toyota Mechanic) told me once that the German tune-up was to take it to the race track
he was joking of course, but what that meant is to clear up a lot of deposits stuck in there by babied cars. Hey, I just got a tune up last Saturday

I thought that was the Italian tune-up...
C'mon, when was the last time you actually saw a Ferrari going fast. Most Ferraris I see on the road are barely going at the speed limit, let alone driven hard.
The Ferrari techs just take the cars out into the hills for a high-speed tune-up.
Most people who buy German sports cars actually drive them.
This is all speculation and fun of course.

Hey Gatsby....
....are you coming to the T.O. meet? I thought you already chipped your car with APR (maybe I'm confusing you with someone else)?
Did you deal with Brian Roman @ Bramgate? That's usually who I deal with and he's quite good...
Hopefully see you Saturday.

Re: Hey Gatsby....
I really want to but I'm busy as hell moving into my new place. I was going to chip with APR but decided to do all of my upgrades at once this coming summer since I ended up spending all of my upgrade money on an apartment and a new Home Theater system.... I know my priorities are all messed up
I'll catch you guys next time.
