anyone know if anodizing has an effect on heat transfer?

Default Shouldn't. IF any it has to be less than paint.

And if stealth is a priority (ding ding ding) than a tiny bit of heat transfer loss isn't such a big deal.

Default a majority of the heat

is transferred in the cold side fins. As long they did not try to spray the fins in the midsection of the core or put a thick coat on them, it should be fine. Although on hot days, black as a tendency to retain more heat, even if its not directly in the sun.

Default basically it oxidizes the outer layer of AL.

black anodize has a black dye in the solution.

Default should have a miniscule negative effect on heat transfer. (updated)

aluminum oxide is an insulator + black is not good radiative heat transfer.

the net effect would very, very small.
