Default got my ugraded rear diff mount installed yesterday as well as

the stratmosphere ss. the shop did a tranny flush also. Still kinda hard getting into 1st sometimes and 2nd too. all other gears are good. maybe the syncros? or maybe i need some time for the new fluid to lube everything up? oh well but anyways my main question is about the diff. they said that all 3 seals are leaking so they didnt do a diff flush. Since the seals are leaking i take it that the fluid level is low...can this hurt my car or damage anything?? how bad is this? i still hear a clunk from the drivetrain and when im boosting good i hear a buzz and feel vibration from what seems to be right where the diff mount is (034 motorsport's new upgraded rear diff)...WTF?!?! lol

Default this isn't off-topic. Low diff fluid certainly can be bad. Fix the seals soon

if they installed the mount and it's making noise, take it back

Default You can take that OT off. This is entirely on topic.

About the rear diff, is it leaking or "weeping"

Weeping seems to be acceptable.

Default they said its a mild leak but apparently has been leaking for awhile and

i noticed more vibrations through the car after i had my sd tranny mounts put in. maybe the diff mount is supposed to give a vibration when the pedals mashed and w/full boost. doesnt happen all the time...only when stepping on it pretty good.

Default

is it likely that the vibrations are from a low diff fluid level

it's possible. Either way, check the fluid level ASAP
