For information regarding speedtraps see www.speedtrap.com.
With respect to insurance, they give you one freebie before they up your rates. If you live out of the tri-state area (NY, NJ & CT) just pay the fine by mail, the probability your state has a motor vehicle information sharing agreement is unlikely. Word of advise from someone who's been stopped 3 times for speeding on the Taconic-get a V1 and be careful.

wish me luck!! It a long treck from the city for me but I figure...I've got my Wett now and the roads should be light for me to test it out on the way back (very carefully ofcourse) I know I got caught and I have to get the point and pay, but maybe the cop won't show up or atleast reduce the points. I was caught at appx 100 is a 65 zone...I'll let you know what happens!!!!

You may want to check the block asking for a supporting deposition. I did, didn't get one, trooper didn't show up. This worked for a girl I know, but not for a guy. The Trooper was pissed at the guy.
StephenM is right.
Bill Shaffer
