due to really bad upper control arm The tires are ContiExtremeContact and my first impression is... they are AWSOME! If you need all-season tires, these should definitely be considered.

why would you necessarily need an alignment with new wheels?

I wanted to get it done because w/ the old tires I had some noticable vibration. Now, the vibration is gone but I would still like to do it just for the peace of mind. Besides, the place charged me only $10/tire for mounting (latest Hunter equipment) and they charge $59 for 4 wheel alignment.

Default Not yet... They quoted me..

$175 for the upper, left, front control arm - which includes the arm ($131) and labor ($44). When the other side went last year, I changed it by myself, but this time I may be too lazy and have them do it.

Makes sense.....so it's just periodic maintenance, not specifically because of the new wheels
