Default Got new Bolero wheels on my A4 last week...but I have yet to see it in person....

Dropped the car off at the dealer last week to have my new Boleros installed, and asked them to check out the AC since it was a little weak. Turns out the AC compressor was slowly shredding itself (metal shavings in the system!). So, the car stayed there to get a new compressor....and new compressor still isn't in.

I've been dying to see what my car looks like with the new rims, and all that I have gotten is this teaser pic taken by someone who stopped by the dealer and recognized my car:

Interesting look. Very classic and for the lack of a better word, "appropriate".

Default Re: AC system

Can you elaborate..."slowly shredding itself"...? Shredding where? Visible if one were to get under the car and check it out?
Thanks

Andy

From what I heard, there were tiny metal shards that could be seen in the freon window.

I think it is "stock OEM aggressive". Better than stock, but still OEM looking.

Default That's why I like the RS4 reps so much ... the boleros are my fave...

just didn't think they would look 'right' on the A6..

Default Eck....that's no good.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the list price on a new compressor?

Andy
