A while back I posted a message about hearing a momontary grinding or "thud" sound when I'd accelerate after the car had been parked for a while. It also happens when I back out of my garage...
A lot of people said they also had the same sound - did anyone figure out what this was?? It seems to be getting worse on my car (btw - I've had both CV joints replaced).
I'm wondering if it might be sticking brake callipers, but that's a very uneducated guess.
Thanks - Crawford

When you take off slowly & deliberately you should be able to feel the resistance, release, & slight lurch if it is a sticking caliper.

only then when coming accelerating from a stop i hear a creek sound. it doesn't happen if my wheels are straight.
