Default Gutted cat?

Someone I know is selling one for $100 shipped. The cost of the cat is minimal, but undoubetly the labor to install may be beyond me.

Is it worth the increased flow worth the turbulent air?

I'm not currently looking to spend much on an exhaust, which is why I am entertaining the gutted cat over a dp.

Changing the cat is not that hard as long as you don't snap any studs

Default Yeah it looks nice and clean. If I could do the labor myself I would definitely do it.

But if I have to pay a shop then it's a different story.

Default you can get a test pipe for around that...

I have a high flow cat and it makes a big difference.

install is an hour. more than that your tech is either inept or ripping you off.

Default You can get a Labree High flow cat for $260. And no CEL lights from the one I had

Install at a garage was $100 because I was too lazy to do it.
