H&R Coilovers

H&R Coilovers
Anybody out there riding on H&R Coilovers who'd care to offer an opinion to someone about to buy them. Love what I hear about their performance enhancement, worry about what other guys (Koni riders) say about harshness/stiffness.

Re: H&R Coilovers
The ride is not harsh at all with the H&R C/Os. Infact the ride is better than my previous Eibach Eurosport/Stock sport shock set up. Handling is much better but I still think it's too soft for track use. Definitely a good compromise between street and track.

Feel is great but.........................................
The ride is smooth and absorbs the road imperfections very well. My only complaint is some noise from the rear which I can't seem to locate. I've had it looked at twice to no avail. I've heard the noise could be caused by my aftermarket wheels. The weight of the new wheel\tire combo may be too much for the coilovers, causing them to work too hard. Other than the noise and the price, they are the hit.

KW coilovers
I would go with the KW V.2. They are adjustable if you want to make your ride stiffer or softer. I have them and I'm very happy. Noise is something that peopel complain about with the H&Rs. Mine haven't made a peep yet! They're a little more expensive than the H&Rs, but I think they're worth the extra cost..
