anyone had problems with h&r coilovers being too stiff when set low on their a4's? eg parts rattled loose and noisy, kidney belt required etc.

If the H&R coilovers allow from 0.75 - 2.25" of lowering..I suggest about 1.5-1.7" lower than stock height. It is mid range and allows the suspension to do its best work. DO NOT go 2.0 to 2.25" low...you WILL NOT like it. Trust me...I had H&R coilovers on my 97 A4...and now I have them on my S4.
