halogen ecodes
Hi i own a 98.5 a4 with the stock reflector headlights with integrated foglights. Because of low light output i drive with the front foglights on.
My question is whether projector halogen(non-xenon) ecodes will give provide more light then my stock headlights with front fogs on too.
KEEP IN MIND THAT WITH ECODES I WILL NO LONGER HAVE FRONT FOGLIGHTS.
Are halogen ecodes worth the money.

SO BOTH OF YOU ARE RUNNING 1PIECE NON-XENON ECODES??
I am suprised that the light output of halogens could be that much better then stock.
are either of you thinging about xenons in the future?

Sorry to bother you again, but
1)how much did your ecodes cost and where did you get them?
2)How hard was installation besides grinding down the fender a little? how long did it take?

I got them from awetuning back when they were only ~$300
the installation wasn't especially bad... some soldering and rewiring. It took me a few days but only because AWE didn't send me the new wiring harnesses and I had to order them seperately.

I just put in the projectors with the Xenon upgrade also.......
I love it, it was well worth the money. The headlights are Valeo and the Xenon upgrade kit is from Lltek. I think that its probably the only thing LLTek sells that is actually worth the money. The light difference is amazing and it looks really good too.
